GENERAL PUBLIC WELCOME / SHOW RATED "E" FOR EVERYONE
The next meeting of the Charlotte chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association, scheduled for 7 p.m. March 27 at the Charlotte County Event & Conference Center (75 Taylor Street, Punta Gorda), will feature a presentation by Sean and Brooks Paxton, also known as the Shark Brothers.
“The CCA is an organization we have many common interests with, so we look forward to this opportunity to share our personal wildlife interaction experiences and conservation work with sharks and explorations in marine and coastal environments,” says Brooks. We’ve actually worked with many of these chapter members on projects like the Guy Harvey Ultimate Shark Challenge so this is a group we know pretty well. It's going to be a really good time”
In addition to their conservation work, the Paxton Brothers are known for being involved with a number of ongoing adventure and exploration-related ventures including: wildlife rescue, land and sea research expeditions, shark release fishing, and most recently, exploration of the mysterious "Deep Hole" in the Myakka River State Park.
"Our presentation will include developments with the upcoming Guy Harvey Ultimate Shark Challenge, along with video footage and photos captured by us during productions and collaborations on historically significant documentary projects, science and research expeditions and personal adventures, says Sean Paxton, adding that, anyone attending should being their sense of adventure and a camera. We've got a few surprises up our sleeves."
With a background in entertainment, the Paxtons know what it takes to keep a crowd's attention -- the guys are anything but boring. The public is invited to attend so come on down and see what the Shark brothers have to show and tell.
